GCT is a close-knit community of passionate anglers from all over the UK who love fishing. They support each other to improve their skills, promote sustainable fishing, conservation, and environmental stewardship. They also participate in charitable events to give back to the community. Brian has been fishing since his childhood years and has PBs of carp to 34lb 10oz. Pike.to 36lb 8oz, Barbel to 11lb 8oz and conger eel to 65lb.

I started fishing at the age of 4 with my foster father, He had a sea fishing boat as he supplied fish to large aquariums and for research. I spent a lot of summers fishing off the jetty’s and the boat so you could say I grew up with it. I picked it up again around 15 years ago in the form of fishing for carp and haven’t looked back. My PB is a Grass Carp from France at 58lb but love catching them at any size really

Hi I’m Louis a mad carp angler and bait maker! I mainly fish NW waters including canals rivers n lakes I love a challenge and exploring the unknown if that even exists anymore!
Louis has many good northwest fish in his album…including the rather tough Brooms Cross fishery which he has completed!

I have been fishing now since a small child and been carp fishing for 36 years. My pb common is 58.02, mirror 42.09, catfish 110lb and sturgeon 116lb.
I am the co owner and designer of talking carp magazine, team member of mainline baits, team manager for castaway pva and consultant for deception angling.
